Black And White Are The Colours Of The Flag Of St.Piran National Saint Of Cornwall

Legend has it that St Piran lit a fire on his black hearthstone,which was evidently a slab of tin bearing ore. The heat caused smelting to take place and the tin rose to the top in the form of a white cross,hence the the pattern on the flag we proudly display the world over!
