CORNISH JEWELLERY
WELCOME TO THE CORNISH STORE JEWELLERY SELECTION!
The tin industry began in Cornwall nearly 4,000 years ago.Our Celtic ancestors mined and exported tin to Europe and the Middle East where it was used in the making of weapons and tools.Pewter is made from 92% tin with copper and antimony to harden and enhance it.The tin used in the SOUTH CROFTY COLLECTION was extracted from South Crofty Mine prior to its closure in 1998. The ST.JUSTIN collection is made from Cornish Tin Ingots raised in 2001 from the wreck of the SS LIVERPOOL which sank off Anglesey in 1863.Whatever you choose you will become the proud owner of a little piece of CORNISH HERITAGE!
