Terms and Conditions
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the site. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your own system, we cannot guarantee that you will receive products with precisely the same colour as your monitor showed. All products have been fairly described and the weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. Packaging may vary from that shown.
All items are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time should it not meet our high quality standards.
All information including prices are correct at the time of publishing and include (in Europe) VAT. We make every effort to maintain prices, although it may be necessary to change prices either up or down.
The price we charge will be that quoted on the site at the time you place your order. However, you may find a different price should you look on our site at a different time.
As well as selling over the internet we sell our product through our store (in UK). Normally, prices on the internet are the same as the prices in our store. However, prices may differ because: (i) we have a special offer on the internet, or in a store. Store prices can only be met in the store where the goods are offered.
We will endeavour to despatch your order within 5 working days. You should note restrictions described on the site with regard to last delivery dates before holiday periods (such as Christmas).
A delivery charge applies to all orders. The charge will be quoted to you at the time you place an order. Occasionally, if an item is out of stock, we will despatch part of the order to you - with the remainder following later. The delivery charge will be levied when the first part of the order is sent to you.
All orders are subject to merchandise availability.
Payment can be made by any major credit or debit card. Payment will be debited from you account before the despatch of you purchase. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our site.
In the unlikely event that your product is lost or damaged in transit please contact us in writing. In the case of non-delivery please wait 28 days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed. In the case of damaged goods please retain the product and contact us within 7 days of receipt.
You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of receiving the goods. A full refund will be sent within 30 days, minus the cost of any perishable goods and subject to the goods being returned in perfect condition.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days of the despatch date with your receipt, providing the goods are not damaged, and you will receive a full refund.
The Cornish Store makes every effort to ensure that this website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it won't cause damage to your computer. It is your responsibility to ensure that the right equipment is available to use the website and screen out anything that may damage it. The Cornish Store shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you ordered are not available.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We only use personal information of the purpose for which it was provided and will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We collect information about you for two reasons; firstly to process your order and secondly to provide you with the best possible service. We do not give or sell your personal information to others, but we may use and disclose personal information that is relevant to a legal proceeding or as required by law.
Other websites may have links on our site and if you link to these sites, they may collect information about you. Such sites are not within our control and are not covered by the privacy policy.
Force Majeure
Whilst every effort has been made to meet your requirements The Cornish Store shall not be liable for any breach of obligation resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control; including, but not limited to, fires, strikes (of its own or other employees), insurrection or riots, embargoes, wars, compliance with laws or regulations, delays in transportation, inability to obtain supplies, acts of God, acts of civil or military authority (an 'Event of Force Majeure')

All credit/debit card transactions are processed by SECPay.
All credit card transactions from this site are processed using 128bit encryption.
Before being asked for your credit card information you will be transferred to a secure server, your browser will normally indicate this through the presence of a small yellow padlock, and the web address will begin with https:// instead of http://.
