Kells Loop Brooch

Solid pewter and meticulously finished by hand this brooch measures 1 3/4 inches ( 4.5cm )in diameter.

It is a fine example of Triscele,portraying the three arms which are thought to represent the past,present and future in Celtic Lore.It survived into the Christian era as it was associated with the Holy Trinity.
